Armed Forces Community Project is a dedicated mental health and wellbeing support programme for the Armed Forces community (including service personnel, veterans, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers, their partners and children

We recognise the unique challenges faced by the Armed Forces include mental health struggles, social isolation, and limited access to targeted resources, which often leave families feeling unsupported within their community.

We provide tailored support for families from the Armed Forces community.

What We Offer:

  • Initial assessments and action plans.
  • A Wellbeing Programme empowers participants with coping strategies, stress management techniques, and tools for improving mental health. Delivered in group settings, it promotes peer learning and shared experiences.
  • Group and 1-1 support.
  • Tailored information and signposting to supportive services.
  • Workshops and volunteering opportunities.
  • Peer Groups and family events reduce isolation by creating safe spaces for social connection and shared understanding, reinforcing a sense of community.
